Download Etka Manual Instalacion Software

Hi, Newbie here.
I install a ETKA 7.4 with 950 outdated database, then use ETKA online update tool 1.5 to complete download all the latest database up to vw1009 au1009 sk541 se535. When I open ETKA program and click Update, it started extract and copy all the database until it prompt out a message:
'Dear sir/madam, This data can only be processed by the latest version of Etka..' If I click the Update in ETKA program again, it will start all over until the message prompt out. Please guide me here. Thank you very very much!

Had the same problem.
Advise: completely uninstall ETKA and remove possible reg keys with CCleaner if you want to be sure, restart and install ETKA again. Then download all updates automatically with the perfect batch program 'ETKA Online-Update 1.05.exe' of flaskgordon82 and then..
.. STOP and read this carefully:
You should NOT to install all 55+ updates per brand in one go, but in batches of about 5 per update. Around AU(DI) update 1000 (not sure about the other brand updates, I only need AU) the update of ETKA to 7.4 plus is also recognised and installed in update process. This is needed before you can proceed with the remaining updates above 1001 and higher.
Important: the batch of flaskgordon82 copies all available updates into ETKA's Update folders. This is fine if you only have a few, but in many cases doesn't work for ETKA if there are many content- and program updates together to manage like in the initial major update.
Therefore to keep ETKA from (unsuccessfully) installing ALL these 4x55+(!) updates in one go from the 4 locations ETKADATAAU-SE-SK-VWUpdate the first time you start it up or press the Update button, you FIRST need to remove all updates from these folders and store them in a safe place, BEFORE you start up ETKA for the first time!
The first five updates of the brand you (primarily) want can be copied back/ left in its Update folder. After the first batch of 5 updates you feed ETKA the next 5 and so on until you've installed all you need to get at least one brand up-to-date to make ETKA work.
Sometimes an errorbox pops up during installing of the updates. Don't worry ETKA will recover where it left if you press the Update button again. Strangely some updates only finish succesfully if you exit ETKA while it is updating itself!
This should make it work for you too! Good luck Rob

Hi Rob, after a long day update manually and of coz, before that the ETKA installation on a virtual machine, downloaded over 200++ updates for different brands, several days later with your valuable advice and instruction, I finally can click 'ETKA STARTEN'!!!!!
I haven't update all to other brands, except for the VW but I already getting excited to search the parts that I need. Once again, Rob,thank you so much for your help!

Question though:
After updating ETKA via this batch exe automated upto in my case 'etupau1008d', you provided updates from 'your' server via this batch exe with the convention ending with 'd' instead of the '0' at the end (e.g. etupau10090.exe) when downloaded individually manually from 'your' site or Rapidshare.
If I put the next update for me 'etupau10090.exe' manually into the ETKA update folder ETKADATAAUUpdate with this '0' at the end ETKA does not recognize update. When renamed to 'etupau1009d.exe' (same naming convention for updates received via your batch.exe) it does recognize update and starts installing update..
Problem though is that after ETKA Update finishes installing this update ETKA Update starts up again and again, looping the same update installation indefinitely like this update was not installed (correctly)?!
Do you or anybody knows why the same update installation is unsuccesfully looped over and over again and how to remedy this?
This way I'm stuck at au v1008 and will be revoked access anytime soon..

etupauxxxx0.exe -> 0 = International Version of ETKA
etupauxxxxd.exe -> d = German Version of ETKA
Updates to the German version already has prices included
For the International version the prices are separate from updates
