To be clear serial ports are legacy devices and seldom used today. If not actually needed the lack of drivers for this specific device would have no effect on the system
The specification also says nothing about a parallel port (Lpt1). Do you have an expansion card into which you plugging in the printer. The socket would not be in the main group of connectors but separate and in the vertical slots. Some port expansion cards had both Serial and parallel ports so this might be the missing driver. If so you would need to identify what the card is and find the appropriate drivers. Unfortunately it is highly likely they would not be available for Windows 7.

I have a HP Compaq dc7800 Convertible Minitower PC with Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit that the audio jack (back or front) does not work. When I contacted HP, because their website doesn't give the OS option for Windows 8 or Windows 10, they asked if I had any hardware in Device Manager that had a yellow '!'. I told them that there was one under Other devices called PCI Serial Port. Then I gave them the following hardware IDs for the device:

HP support then told me that this was actually a missing driver for the chipset. They then told me 'Drivers for windows 8.1 pro 64 bit are not available, HP is still working on it, please get in touch with Microsoft for the temporary drivers.' I am assuming the chipset drivers are connected to the internal audio and serial port. I tried to update driver software using the 'Search automatically for updated driver software' without any luck. Full version of halo combat evolved.
